Golden Pathways Counselling operates exclusively via telephone and secure online telehealth (video). This allows you to attend your sessions from the comfort, privacy, and safety of your own home, anywhere in the country, without the stress of travel or waiting rooms.

For telehealth (video) sessions, you simply need a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and a stable internet connection. I will send you a secure link to click at the time of our appointment. For telephone sessions, I will call your mobile number directly. For both options, all you need to prepare is a private, quiet space where you feel safe and won't be interrupted.

Absolutely. Your privacy and safety are my top priorities. Everything discussed in our sessions is strictly confidential, in accordance with professional counselling ethical codes. The only rare exceptions to this are if there is an immediate risk of harm to yourself or someone else, which we will discuss clearly during our first intake.

No. At Golden Pathways, our focus is safely anchored in rebuilding your life and looking forward. While we fully acknowledge your past experiences, we do not spend sessions reliving old trauma memories. Instead, we focus on the present and future. We use gentle, supportive tools to help you manage current stress, regulate your nervous system, set firm boundaries, and co-author a new story for your life.
